Organic Sidr Honey
From bees that touch nothing but the wild Beri blossom, gathered in the world's oldest and largest Sidr forest along the Pakistan–Afghanistan tribal belt. Unheated. Unblended. Untouched since the hive.
“Best in the World” — awarded to Sidr honey by connoisseurs at FoodEx 2016, Jeddah.
Properties worth taking seriously
Sidr honey has been used across Pakistan and the Arabian Peninsula as a functional food for generations — not for its sweetness, but for what it does.
Fuel for athletes
Its near-neutral pH lets it enter the bloodstream fast — favoured by Olympic-level athletes pre-workout, for quick, clean energy.
Cholesterol support
Traditionally used to help lower LDL as part of a balanced diet.
Immune strength
Raw, unheated enzymes and antioxidants that pasteurisation would otherwise destroy.
Elderly & expectant mothers
High mineral content makes it a gentle, natural supplement recommended across life stages.
The world's oldest and largest Sidr forest grows along the Pakistan–Afghanistan tribal belt — trees never planted, pruned, or irrigated by hand.
FoodEx 2016 · Jeddah, Saudi ArabiaA tree that refuses to be farmed
Organic Sidr (Beri) is a mono-floral honey — meaning the bees that make it feed on nothing else. It comes exclusively from the nectar of the wild Sidr tree, an ancient species that grows uncultivated in the remote mountains of the tribal belt.
That narrow, once-a-year bloom window is what makes every jar a genuinely seasonal harvest, not a standing product line — rated "best in the world" by honey connoisseurs on a global stage.
Slightly more expensive. Deliberately so.
Most honey on shelves has been heated and blended to stretch the yield. We do neither — which is the entire reason this costs more than a supermarket jar.
The processed-honey playbook
- ✕Applying heat to make honey runnier and easier to bottle at speed
- ✕Blending a poor-quality batch into a good one to bulk up volume
- ✕Selling de-natured honey at a lower price to compete on shelf
- ✕Rushing the harvest ahead of the natural bloom cycle
Cold-extraction, to EU standards
- ✓Extract with no heat applied — enzymes stay alive, texture stays natural
- ✓Source single-origin batches only, never blended for volume
- ✓Work with beekeepers trained to harvest the finest grade only
- ✓Certify our beekeepers in cold-extraction to EU standards
A pH almost identical to your blood
Raw honey is naturally acidic — most sit at a pH of 4.0–6.0. Organic Sidr Honey is the exception, with a pH of 6.5–7.4, remarkably close to human blood at 7.1.
That closeness is why it dissolves into the bloodstream in seconds — a fast, clean source of energy, minerals and vitamins.
Beekeepers certified to EU cold-extraction standards
Every batch is traced back to trained beekeepers working the Sidr forests of Pakistan's tribal belt — harvesting by hand, extracting without heat, and bottling without blending.

The beekeepers behind this jar
We don't harvest our own Sidr honey — we procure it from a trusted partner who has spent years building direct relationships with beekeeping families across Pakistan.
Simply The Great
Simply The Great is a Pakistan-based natural foods marketplace started in 2016 by two old friends, Shehroze and Daniyal, out of a shared interest in health and wellness. What began as a small honey-sourcing project has grown into a wider marketplace for honey, saffron, ghee, oils, and other artisan foods.
Their focus from day one has been the beekeepers themselves — training and supporting families across Pakistan in cold-extraction, so honey is never heated or filtered and keeps the enzymes and character that raw Sidr honey is known for. It's this same cold-extracted, single-origin Sidr honey that we procure from them for Pardes Foods.

Common questions about Sidr honey
A few things people usually ask before their first jar.
Do you offer bulk sourcing for B2B partners?
Yes — we work with retailers, distributors, and hospitality partners on bulk orders of Sidr honey, with pricing and lead times scaled to volume. For trade inquiries, please get in touch via our contact page and our team will follow up with you directly.
Is this honey heated or pasteurised?
No. It's cold-extracted, meaning no heat is applied at any stage. Heating makes honey runnier and easier to bottle quickly, but it also destroys the natural enzymes raw honey is valued for.
How do I know it's genuinely pure and not blended?
Every batch is single-origin — sourced from beekeepers who work exclusively with wild Sidr blossom, never mixed with other honey to bulk up volume. It's procured through a partner network trained and certified in cold-extraction to EU standards.
How should I store the jar?
Keep it sealed at room temperature, out of direct sunlight. No need to refrigerate — properly stored raw honey has an extremely long shelf life and won't spoil.
How much should I take, and how often?
A teaspoon or two a day is the common way to enjoy it — straight, in warm (not boiling) water, or drizzled over food. Honey should never be given to infants under 12 months, due to a small risk of infant botulism.
Do you deliver overseas?
We're built for exactly that — bringing authentic Pakistani Sidr honey to customers abroad. Reach out with your location and we'll confirm shipping options and timelines.
